My great grandmother’s surname on my dad’s maternal side is Seybold. Leonhard Seybold, my 2nd great grandfather, arrived with his brother and sister at Castle Garden from Germany on June 2, 1857, onboard the ship New Orleans. He settled on a farm in Brillion Township, Calumet Co., WI. His daughter, Katherine, married Orville Duloss Harris in 1876. More about the Harris family can be read here.
